The out-of-control vehicle was going to cause a multicar pileup – unless this mom stopped it

My friend, Cherilyn Gill thought as she watched in her rear view mirror that there was a silver Volkswagen, which was crossing all three lanes on the eastbound highway. Gill is a special – education teacher, and her 13 year-old foster daughter was with her in the car. When Gill noticed the car 100meters away, she avoided the car and gave room to the car. After giving room for the car the car still kept crashing into the median. Gill expected that after crashing into the median the car would stop but the car slowed down and immediately the car sped up and then Gill could see the car out of control – as if the driver was unconscious, with a foot on the accelerator. It was not only a threat to the driver but also to the others on the highway. Gill decided to block the car zoom. Gill went in front of the car and made the car bump into their rear. After some time with great effort she was able to bring both cars to halt then Gill went to the other car tried to open the car door but it was locked. Her daughter climbed the median broke the window glass and found the driver of that car had passed out after having a seizure. Then the police, ambulance, fire truck arrived and started to investigate the car and the woman. They praised Gill for her presence of mind and brave act. Later she received an award from the Mayor for her saving a life and also preventing a major accident. <<
