This John Ford Collection is a set of 5 excellent films Ford directed without John Wayne.
“Mary, Queens of Scots” stars Katherine Hepburn in her only Ford film; “The Informer” stars Victor McLaglen in his Academy Award winning performance in the title role; the anti-racist Western, “Sergeant Rutledge” stars Woody Strode, who made several other Ford films in supporting roles; and “The Lost Patrol”, a WW1 drama that co-stars Mclagen again and Boris Karloff.
All 5 films are on DVD for the first time.
