Along with the 5 classic Bette films, this collection features a new 2 disc special edition of ‘Baby Jane’ (one of the discs is about the making of the film) and an excellent ‘tell it like it was’ documentary about Bette, called “Stardust,” narrated by Jodie Foster.
Of the 5 films, my favorites are “Marked Woman” and “Old Acquaintance” (with Miriam Hopkins). “The Man Who Came to Dinner” features a great ensemble cast along with Bette but Monte Wooly is really the star.
Warner Home Video has been doing a great job in restoring and releasing their classics on DVD, and this Bette Davis Collection is no exception.
