My Parents and my brother lived in Madrid. My father was a doctor. He was a very disciplined man I have ever known. My brother studied Law. More than academics he was interested in playing soccer. He got qualified for the team. As fate would have it while he was driving with his friends in the countryside he was in a terrible accident. His car rolled over. His spinal cord was damaged. My father stopped his practice for a year to take care of my brother. He needed a couple of surgeries. During his recuperation he used to listen to a lot of music on the radio. He enjoyed singing along and trying new tunes. We came to know about national singing competition. My brother wanted to participate. My father reluctantly gave his permission.
My brother won the competition and ended signing up a singing contract for a leading company. From then on there was no looking back. He became a popular singer. This is an example of how his life could have taken a different path by the happenstance of one occurrence.
