THANK YOU for these MUCH NEEDED and APPRECIATED words! At 52, I have a LONG way to go to "understand" this stage of life, but I SO BELIEVE what you are teaching; it's like a "life plan."
I TRULY MISS the days of passion from my youth...my husband of 33 years is more like a business partner. It's hard to articulate how LONELY you can be when you're MARRIED. For many, that would just NOT make sense.
But I think I'm missing something. The void I feel should be filled with NEW EXPERIENCES and a RE-DISCOVERY of what I TRULY WANT IN LIFE. Those dreams that have long since slipped away just MIGHT have some NEW LIFE in them.
Clearly, it is worth investigating....and enjoying the journey should be part of the FUN!
THANK YOU!
