Situated in the heart of Southern California, O.C. is centrally located on the coast between the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles and San Diego.

Orange County is close to everything you’ll want to see and do in Southern California and the weather is some of the best you’ll find in America.

There are 42 miles of white sandy beaches, exhilarating amusement parks, luxury hotels as well as world-famous dining, entertainment and shopping. There’s something for everyone in your family.

To the south and east of Los Angeles lies Orange County (pop. 3 million), home to some of the nation’s favorite attractions and pleasant residential neighborhoods. Separated from the artifice and glamour of L.A., the residents and visitors here tend to be looking for simpler pleasures.

Whether enjoying the coastal bluffs and art galleries at Laguna Beach, shopping in Old Town Orange, or watching whales at Dana Point or swallows at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, Orange County is a place for fun and relaxation.

Much of the entertainment Orange County has to offer is of the quieter sort.

Miles and miles from the center of the urban sprawl, there’s room here for golf courses and city parks. Boating is a popular pastime in Costa Mesa, and the arts can be enjoyed at theaters and symphony halls.

Even driving is more pleasant, whether on the curving boulevards of Yorba Linda or the planned streets of Mission Viejo. Convenient access to the Santa Ana Mountains allows outdoors lovers to escape the metropolis to a beautiful protected landscape.

Disneyland in Anaheim is the most famous theme park in the world, and it’s joined by a host of competitors offering roller coasters and cotton candy galore. Volleyball and surfing tournaments are a mainstay at Huntington Beach, fun for spectators and athletes alike, and live music and clubs sprinkle both the beachfront and inland neighborhoods.

The temperature in Orange County throughout the year is mild and the average yearly rainfall is 15 inches.

11% of Orange County households have a net worth exceeding $1,000,000.

Orange County poverty rates have fallen since 2000, reversing a 20 year trend. Orange County has the lowest unemployment rate in California (3.6%) and most often the second lowest in the United States.

Orange County ranks #10 in creating jobs in the United States and #5 in the actual number of jobs (1.6 million)

Orange County ranks #5 in rental rate increases (6.0%) in the United States and has a 96.8% occupancy rate.
