By J. Doyle
I was in my early twenties when I had fever, which was not responding to regular anti- febrile medicines. A week later we noticed lymph gland s swollen around my neck region. Then the doctors ran a battery of tests and investigations. I had to get hospitalized and 6th hourly shots were being given. I was investigated for suspected leukemia. Our entire family went through a rough patch then. My family kept praying God to spare me. After repeatedly getting a normal report in the bone marrow aspiration tests did the hospital give a clean chit and said it was not cancer. But it was some severe viral infection.
Finally with God’s grace and support of every member of my family, I recovered slowly and back to normal.
